Anastasia Novikov is having a potluck party and you’re invited!

Pop-Up Potluck is a story-telling dinner party like no other! Party games, story-telling, kai, and comedy come together in this unique event where no two nights will ever be the same!

You, the guests, have been tasked to bring a homemade (or purchased) dish to the party that has a backstory. You will get a chance to tell everyone why it’s important to you! Anastasia has a daily theme to inspire your choice:

4 July: Childhood Favourites!
30 July: Favourite dish from another culture to your own!

Not a storyteller? Never fear! This event could still be your cup of tea; Anastasia has a series of disastrously silly party games up her sleeve to kick start the party and get your vocal cords moist. She’ll also make sure the room is held during storytime! All stories are welcome at Anastasia’s place! But please note, she’s not a qualified counsellor so only share what you are comfortable with.

Anastasia Novikov is a comedic character performed by Amy Atkins of Ephemeral Theatre. Anastasia adores food, people, and stories. She wants to bring Wellingtonians together to reminiscence on meals gone by, delight in local produce, share recipes, and connect through our various food cultures. And, Anastasia will provide the drinks and nibbles!

Dietary Requirements
Anastasia will always provide GF, DF, Vegetarian, and Vegan snacks and drinks.
We cannot ensure other guests will cater to your dietary requirements so ensure you bring a dish you love!

Alcohol Free Event
Please do not bring alcohol onto the premises! Raglan Roast Abel Smith does not have a liquor license and we won’t be purchasing one for the event.

Accessibility
Raglan Roast Chaffers Dock is wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom.

Translator Tickets: Translator tickets are for people who attend the event to translate for someone they are coming with. Ideal for families where English is a second language and NZSL interpreters. We want everyone’s stories to be heard no matter what language you speak – Cantonese, New Zealand Sign Language, or Fijian!

Companion Tickets: Companion tickets are accessibly priced tickets for people with disabilities to purchase for a companion. We want everyone to feel welcome and don’t want anyone financially disadvantaged just because they go out and about with a companion.
