As the weather gets nicer, why not plan for a casual evening of play, fun and food on the beach?
Kick off your shoes, pack a picnic, join us to build huts, forage, play games and relax in nature.
The beach is one of our richest resources and one of the best play spaces in Welly!
Due to Alert level 2 restrictions, registration is essential and spaces are strictly limited.
Play is an essential for everyone, but getting outdoors, exploring in nature and spending quality time with the environment, is a rite of passage for all kiwi kids.
This session is for:
- Local families with children
- Grandparents and caregivers
- Young people
We know play doesn’t need to be formal, structured or cost money.
It’s been a tough time for many lately and COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of wellbeing for whānau and tamariki. Taking time out to have some fun will help lift everyone’s spirits through play.
