Join us for an exploration of the lost urban streams of Wellington and learn a little of the history and future of these as they compete with the frantic demands of our urban jungle.
Evan Harrison (GWRC Scientist), Stu Farrant (Ecological Engineer) and Ben Fountain (former Chief Stormwater advisor) will tell the story through the lenses of Kumutoto, Waimapihi and Waitangi Streams as we take a stroll from the site of Wellingtons first ‘piped stream’ and along the waterfront reflecting on the issues and challenges with the future of our city’s freshwater.
Finishes at Waitangi Park.
Space is limited.
