Try your hand at blowing molten glass to create a beautiful glass pumpkin like this!
Pumpkins are such a fun and unique object that everyone enjoys. Their bright shining ridges and fun curly stems capture the light and brighten up space, add a sense of fun and creativity to the room.
Our 40min workshop starts with choosing your colours (we have 10 colours to choose from for the body + green or clear stem) and we run you through the tools you will be using to make your pumpkin.
Then comes the 20-minute hot shop experience. Here you work one-on-one with the glass artist instructor to make your pumpkin. You will have a chance to add colour to your glass, blow into a pipe to inflate your glass and to shape the glass to create your pumpkin’s shape. Stems will be added by the teacher and assistant.
After your creation has cooled down overnight, you can take it home as a memento or gift for someone special.
Requirements:
-Must be 14 yrs or older.
-Must be in good physical health, and able to hear and see well.
-Must wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and a shirt made of natural fibers (aka, cotton, wool, linen) during the lesson.
-Must book at least a day in advance.
