Raumati South Community Earthquake Drill

Imagine that a large earthquake has struck the Wellington region. You've just made it home and checked on your family and neighbours. What do you do next?

We are opening up the Community Emergency Hub at Raumati South School hall, where you can come along and...

- Discuss how your community can respond to the challenges of an emergency,
- Get to know your community emergency hub,
- Practice how it might pan out during a major event
- Meet your neighbours who will be a huge support when you need it most.
-Share some kai together at a free BBQ (from 12.30) if we are at level 1

Please note that keeping us all safe in our current COVID-19 environment is integral to the overall success of this event. As such please read and understand the below information prior to coming along to the event

If our region or the country are in:

Alert Level 4 and Alert Level 3:
- This event will be cancelled. We will look to organise a future event.

Alert Level 2
- You must register for this event as spaces will be limited. This is to maintain safe distancing and adhere to any conditions of hosting a public gathering. Please register here: https://getprepared.nz/keep-up-to-date/course/?stage=Stage
- Please stay home if you are feeling unwell
- Hand sanitiser and limited number of face covering will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own
- Please be mindful of other participants and ensure safe distancing at all times
- No food or drink will be served. Please bring your personal water bottle and/or a snack
- A sign-in sheet will be kept to adhere to contact tracing requirements
Alert Level 1
- Please stay home if you are feeling unwell
- Hand sanitiser will be provided, please keep up good hygiene practices
- We will provide some light refreshments of packaged single item foods
- A sign-in sheet will be kept to adhere to contact tracing requirements
