RAW Comedy Quest 2021 - Lower South Island Final

It's New Zealand’s largest and most prestigious open mic comedy competition, and the Lower South Island finals are here!

After 9 shows, 45 entrants and over 500 audience members, we're down to the last 8 comedians. See the best performers from Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown, Wānaka and Central Otago compete for a spot in the national finals in Auckland.

Aspiring funny people from Otago, Southland and around the country have taken to the stage this winter to compete in RAW, a rite of passage for up and coming kiwi comedians.

It’s a good chance to see future rock star comedians, before they sell out and start charging a million dollars per ticket at a stadium gig. You could be there when it all starts, you could brag to all your friends about witnessing their first ever performance. Like watching the Beatles perform at a Liverpool wedding in the late 50s.
