Simplify the challenge of capturing a likeness in Realistic Drawing. Use photo references with your preference of portrait, landscape or still life. This is a 9-week class. Alvin Xiong is an Auckland-based multi-disciplinary artist and independent curator. His practice looks at integrating painting techniques into different mediums to achieve new expressions. Examples include Life Likes Summer Flowers, LED installation, 2015, commissioned for the Auckland Art Festival, as well as LALALA, commissioned by the University of Auckland, for the Lantern Festival.
