Rereata Makiha (Ngāti Whakaheke, Te Aupōpouri, Te Arawa) - is a renowned Māori astrologer and a leading authority on the maramataka - the Māori lunar calendar. He is an expert on traditional food planting and harvesting practices as well as kōrero tuku Iho, or Māori history, handed down through generations.

Kororareka Marae welcome Rereata who will be sharing his Mātauranga on Wednesday 28 July from 9.30am- 12.30pm at Haratu.

Registration is not compulsory but it helps us to plan accordingly

We will complete the session with a shared kai.
