Retooled! - Upcycling, Clothes Swap and Pop-up Shop

ReTooled is an Op Shop Expo, a collaboration between New Zealand Red Cross and Ara Institute of Canterbury supported by our friends at NZ Post.

For $20 ($15 for students) you can participate in this salute to the secondhand life, with a clothes swap, the pOp Shop (pop-up Op shop), a ‘bad art’ auction, an upcycled fashion exhibition, as well as a selection of upcycled items to buy or create yourself at our hands-on workshops (Koha).
They’ll be music, games, raffles, a chance to learn more about the circular economy and the awesome work that New Zealand Red Cross are doing. Come and hang out with some like-minded people! This is a family-friendly event.

For the clothes swappers amongst you, please contact louise.topping@redcross.org,nz or drop your bag of clean and tidy clothes off to her on Thursday 12th August between 11am – 2pm or Friday 13th August 10am – 2pm at The Student Lounge (Tahatika C Block), Ara Institute of Canterbury, Madras St.
