The Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games is back for 2021, and your pre-schoolers can get amongst the action at the Feilding Farmers Market, on Friday 5th March.

Come down to Manchester Square, Feilding from 10 am to Midday for an adventure-packed morning that’s free for the whole family plus there will be plenty of prizes up for grabs too.

Your kids can try their hand at some of the rural sports on offer at The Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games by having a go at digging up sand in a small Hire Ways digger, gumboot tossing, hammering a nail into wood, ride the pedal tractors, roll a hay bale, and take part in the Rural Day Relay Grudge Challenge Tug O War. There will also be an epic Ford Courier Wild Trak display, colouring competitions, sack races, face painting, giant Jenga, Connect Four and Alpacas to pet.

Kids ‘n Country at the Feilding Market has been made possible thanks to the Manawatu District Council, Feilding District & Promotions and with support from Hire Ways. It’s going to be epic, so make sure to join in on the action.

Plus, don’t miss your opportunity to get involved with the ‘Schools and Pre-School Mural Competition’, inspired by The Rural Games. Schools from across Manawatu can register to take part and win prizes for their creativity and art. We’ll be displaying a selection of the murals at The Rural Games in The Square in Palmerston North from 12-15 March.

Registering is easy but get in quick as the competition closes on Friday 12th March. For more information and to register online.
