Safe Festival Comedy Preview Show

SAFE AF is forming as a non-profit, for the arts experience. Our intention is to reactivate local shows to initiate happenings and events in Hastings, to present and to consume creative work.

The Safe Festival Comedy Preview Show is an opportunity to catch a variety of festival acts performing ahead of the main festival, giving a little teaser of what's to come in their shows.

Featuring MC Rhian Wood-Hill: Rhian once walked the length of the North Island just to see a Proclaimers concert (and maybe raise a few dollars for charity), he's performed his brand of storytelling stand-up all across the country and featured in multiple NZ International Comedy Festivals to rave reviews.

And Headliner Jamie Patterson: Known for his sharp wit and absurd observations, Jamie Patterson has performed at some of the biggest venues across NZ and Australia. A featured act at the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, multiple nominee at the 2019 and 2020 NZ Comedy Awards and Grand Finalist in the 2019 Raw Comedy Quest, Jamie is not to be missed this festival.
