Sam & Loris With Mike Murane Vocalist

Sam and Loris made a timely return to the Auckland Jazz & Blues Club on 1st December with their signature jazz duo and were joined by jazz vocalist Mike Murane. On February 2nd they will be joined by Cam McArthur as the double bassist.

Mike Murane is a stunning jazz vocalist who sings and swings with great enthusiasm and talent and has an infectious style that is reminiscent of the great Frank Sinatra. Last year Sam & Loris were collaborating with Mike in preparing for a number of private, corporate and public gigs, a lot of which had fallen through due to COVID-19. They are super eager to be able to perform again at the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club and present the accumulation of their efforts so far. They will be presenting an exciting and eclectic mixture of songs from the Great American Songbook, jazz/latin standards as well as a jazzified popular cover or two.
