Repurposing materials to create beautiful cushions for the children to take home.

This creative workshop will cover how to independently hand sew and make a pattern. The students will be cutting fabric and learning about texture.

Students will be looking at sustainable practices and ways to save fabrics from land fill, to explore options to repurpose or upcycle. The workshop will cover the safe use of sewing needles, sewing machine and scissors.

Ages 6 years and up. Students are welcome to bring a morning tea snack and water bottle
