Sound Bites2 ft. Andy Gatrell

Sound Bites returns this summer to Lower Hutt on Andrews Avenue in the Southend of High Street and new this year at The Dowse Square. This annual summer lunchtime activity has been renamed to Sound Bites2; to highlight the encore performance on Dowse Square. Bring your lunch or grab a bite from your favourite Central Hutt café and pop over to Andrews Avenue to enjoy sunshine and sounds of local musicians. The afternoon performance on The Dowse Square is a great way to enjoy the end of the workweek. Bring your office to get together to the Square.

Many of our Sound Bites favourites are back again this year and there are two opportunities to enjoy the talent on offer.

5th March week four and 26th March - Week Six - we welcome Andy Gartell back this year. Andy is a charismatic storyteller, he is the most prolific loop artist currently on Wellington's musical scene. With his folk-pop sound, confessional songwriting and crowd-pleasing wit, locals have long been suspicious that Andy is, in fact, the lovechild of Ed Sheeran and Elton John.
