Founder and general manager of Wildlife.ai, Victor has extensive experience in conservation biology, wildlife monitoring and ecological modelling. He discovered the strengths and limitations of machine learning for conservation while working with camera traps during his PhD at Victoria University of Wellington. Since then, he has worked with research institutions, governments and local communities around the world to translate big data into more effective species conservation management.
