Steak Highway 16 BBQ Festival: CANCELLED

Let’s face it, 2020 sucked and with the recent news that Meatstock 2021 won’t be going ahead, the crew at Morepork BBQ have stepped in to make sure that you barbecue enthusiasts are taken care of. Introducing the inaugural – STEAK HIGHWAY 16 FESTIVAL. 20-21 February at Morepork BBQ Kumeu. This is an official NZBA event with teams competing for over $7000 in prize money and also an SCA ‘Whole Hog’ cook off. It wouldn’t be a barbecue festival without Jack Daniels so you know they’re on board along with the good buggers at Liberty Brewing. There will be rolling barbecue master classes all weekend long alongside a live fire wagyu steak pit where you can get your hands on freshly seared wagyu steaks cooked live and to your liking. Being a West Auckland festival, there will also be some kick ass live music! So, dust off your black singlets. Fire up your Holdens and get ready for a weekend of barbecue like no other!
