What is Better Digital Futures?

Aimed at seniors or those aged 65+, Better Digital Futures is a range of free beginner digital classes held at the Ashburton Public Library (and other libraries around New Zealand) on a Thursday morning from 10am-12pm. We will work through 4 different pathways, consisting of 4 classes each (1 per week). These occur in sequence, aiming to build your knowledge and confidence with each session. The four different pathways are: (1) Digital Introductory, (2) Digital Essentials, (3) Digital Engagement; and (4) Digital Safety. There is a small reward and certificate for completing all four sessions in one pathway. However, you are able to sign up for as many or as few classes as you would like!

Bookings required. For more information on the specific topic for each session and to register for each upcoming class go to the Stepping UP website, talk to us at the Library, or call us on 03 308 7192.
