For our first event in 2021 of our Supper Club Series, in collaboration with Pirate & Queen, we invite you to a harvest supper to be held at Field & Green on Wednesday 31st March.
The word ‘harvest’ comes from the Old English word hærfest meaning ‘autumn’, aptly the season for gathering the food of the land. We celebrate the end of the harvest amid the Harvest Moon, the nearest full moon to the Autumn Equinox, a time when harvest festivals were traditionally held.
Seen as day of thanksgiving we have focused on using local passionate food suppliers within 75km of Wellington including produce from Kōkihi Gardens in Shelly Bay, cheese by Remutaka Pass Creamery and Woody’s Free Range farm meats. Mix in Upper Hutt blueberries and Field & Green’s ice cream we’ll have a lip-smacking menu accompanied by live music.
Beverages from Greytown’s very own urban winery Alexia, local legends Garage Project beer and Hardieboys soda will accompany much gaiety.
*Ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine on arrival.
**With the set menu, we aren't really able to cater for dietaries, although if you contact us before buying a ticket we can let you know if some sort of variation is possible.
