It's time for the next intake of SCRD freshies to learn the skills needed to play Roller Derby.
Learn to skate, stop, fall and hit at our beginners course which starts on 29 March 2021 and runs till the end of May. Ten weeks of fast, feisty fun starting off with the basics and moving to full-contact roller derby as the course progresses.
If you can skate just a little or more than a little, come and find out if roller derby is the sport for you. An average level of fitness will be of great benefit as the roller derby basics revolve around squats and lunges (your favourites!).
All genders welcome.
$15 per session (with reduced rate for full 10 weeks) including skate and protective gear hire.
