About this event:
SWIDT is a two time Tui Award-winning Hip Hop collective from Onehunga. Comprising of SmokeyGotBeatz (Isaiah Libeau), SPYCC (Daniel Latu), INF (Amon McGoram), JAMAL (Jamal Muavae) and BoomerThaGod (Asher Schwenckee).

With only a few tracks out on Smokey's SWIDT vs. Everybody compilation Album 2016 the crew first came out on the scene with "No more Parties in Stoneyhunga" and quickly grew a cult following with their street hit "312".A year later, SWIDT release their debut album "STONEYHUNGA". The album quickly became a classic receiving 5-Star reviews from music critics and blogs all over NZ. The success of the album saw the team have the highest number of nominations at the 2017 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards and walk away with two Tuis; Best Hip Hop Album of the Year and Best Group of the Year.Six months after their debut, SWIDT release STONEYHUNGA: The bootleg EP. The EP was headed by their hit "Conquer" which made the top 20 nominations for APRA Silver Scroll Awards which recognises outstanding achievement in songwriting.

Another 6 months pass and SWIDT release another EP; The Most Electrifying. Headed by their street single "Who Run It" and follow up track "Praise", SWIDT have made it clear that are at the top of the game and are planning to stay.
