Get your tickets to come along to Tauranga City Councils interactive workshop to learn the art of worm farming. Don’t miss this great opportunity to produce your own super soil for your garden by feeding your households fruit and vegetable scraps to your very own worm farm.

By attending the workshop, you take home a worm farm bin, worms, lime and starter compost to get you started straight away. The workshop is subsidised by Tauranga City Council with a nominal fee charged to take-home a pack which is valued at more than $190.

The workshop is catered to beginners of worm farming with little or no experience, or for those who would like a refresher.

If you don’t need a worm farm you can come to the workshop at no cost, however, you still need to purchase a free ‘observer’ ticket to attend. The workshop is open to Tauranga City Council residents only. One worm farm will be issued per household. Up to two people per household can attend.

You must pre-purchase a ticket to attend this workshop to take home the materials and to come as an observer. No walk-ins will be accepted due to restrictions on numbers. More details will be advised via email once your ticket has been purchased, please provide a valid email address when purchasing your ticket.
