Technology Holiday Programme - Brain Box Electronics (9+)

The next school holiday programmes will begin on the 5th of January 2021 and Brain Play is planning four weeks of tech-based activities for your child to get involved in!

We also offer childcare for just $8.00 per hour from 7:45am - 8:45am, and 3:15pm - 4:15pm or 5:15pm.

This course is Electronics - Brain Play has just purchased a brand new set of all-in-one micro-controllers for our electronics holiday programme. Students enrolled will learn to write code for motion sensors, LED's, buzzers, buttons, humidity sensors, light sensors, infrared transmitters and receivers. We'll use both Blockly and JavaScript programming to complete a series of projects.

Some of our programmes have age restrictions, due to their difficulty. Please follow these restrictions carefully as your child will not be accepted into the class on the day if they do not meet the age requirement.

Students are required to bring their own laptop. Previously we have accepted tablets, but we have introduced brand new activities that require the use of a desktop device.

Devices are not required for the robotics days. Chrome Books are suitable for some programmes. Please check our website to confirm. Laptops are available for hire at a rate of $8.00 per day.
