Ten Feet Tall Speech & Drama Holiday Programme

Ten Feet Tall runs small group school holiday programmes for families who are looking for a day of fun, action-packed with skills and opportunities to develop confidence. All the content of our holiday programmes is new for students who take our weekly classes.

Our programme starts at 9am (we can take drop-offs from 8.30 am at no extra charge!) with games we know they love – our focus is to help our students relax, engage with each other and enjoy being creative. It’s a non-threatening, engaging time that even our shy students really enjoy.

After morning tea we are working in groups learning to improvise. Improvisation develops a range of useful speaking and performing confidence skills in a way that feels fun and inviting for students. Students work together in groups to tell stories they are interested in.

After lunch its time for a costume and prop making competition – using all our creativity to take everyday items and turn their model into the best looking costume. Students love this time to be creative – and enjoy our fast-paced competition.

For our final hour we spend time exploring a range of games and activities that build on the stories we created in the morning. We finish with a series of exercises and games we know our students love.
