Welcome to the Wairarapa Film Festival 2021.

We are delighted to present the opening of The Art of Christian Nicolson, in partnership with Schmid Gallery/Workshop, Martinborough.

Christian Nicolson has curated a set of contemporary paintings to exhibit at SCHMID Gallery/Workshop, Martinborough.

Opening Night is Thursday 28th October and will exhibit for approximately 4 weeks.

Christian is a full-time artist from Auckland. He is passionate about paintings, sculptures and installations, exploring themes around landscapes, growing up, surfing, pop culture, sci-fi, and nudity.

Christian is also a filmmaker. This Giant Papier Mache Boulder Is Actually Really Heavy (2015), his first feature film, will screen at Circus Cinema, Martinborough, as part of the Wairarapa Film Festival's programme in Martinborough (27-28 October 2021).
