The Cathedral Strings In Concert

The Cathedral Strings is an ensemble which has enhanced performances by the Waiapu Cathedral Choir in special services and concerts during the past three years. Directed by Anthony Tattersall, the group comprises some 20 experienced musicians who play regularly in other groups such as the Hawke’s Bay Orchestra, and other orchestras and chamber groups both in the Bay and further afield.

In their first concert, the Cathedral Strings will perform some of their favourite music by composers such as Handel, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi and Piazzola. There will be something that everyone will enjoy in this hour of music. The cost is just $20 for adults (pay at the door using cash or EFTPOS) and children under 14 years are admitted free of charge. All are welcome, and do bring a friend!
