The Great Carterton Wheelbarrow Race is brought to you by Saint Mary's School and proudly sponsored by Property Brokers.

The race is a fundraiser for the kids of Saint Mary's School, Carterton.

Racers race to push their teammates in wheelbarrows to the finish line. There is a mix of single races and relays for teams of 2 or 4.

100 metre races for mums, dads, kids and celebrities ($22.50 per team):

- Mum and kids
- Dad and kids
- Celebrity race

200 metre relay for teams of 2 ($22.50 per team):

- Women’s open
- Mixed open
- Sports code challenge
- College race

400 metre relay for teams of 2 ($22.50 per team):

- Men’s open

400 metre Corporate Rely for teams of 4 ($103.50 per team (includes $3.50 ticket fee))

- Corporate Relay
