As a teacher and private-practising psychologist earlier in life, Julia’s interest has always been in psycho-spiritual development. She has taught in the Adelaide Lodge and has done several speaking tours for the TS in New Zealand.

She particularly likes to engage people in the influence of Theosophical ideas on their inner and outer lives.

Julia has a Master of Science degree in Esoteric Psychology from the University of the Seven Rays.
She lives and teaches with her husband Orest at the Southern Lights Centre meditation school at Akaroa.

The Secret Doctrine and David Bohm’s Implicate Order
The dialogues between David Bohm on his Implicate Order (the unfolding and enfolding of the
niverse) and Renee Weber brought a dynamic livingness to my understanding of the three Fundamental Propositions in The Secret Doctrine – 1.the One Absolute Reality, 2. The Law of Periodicity and 3. the Oversoul and Cycle of Necessity.

In this talk, I seek to convey this livingness and the contemporary relevance of the Propositions, drawing on these dialogues (in Weber’s book Dialogues with Scientists and Sages, 1986) as well as related contemporary writing and later theosophical works.
