Tiaho Mai Exhibition - Weekend Artist Floor Talks

Presented by Toi Matarau, Māoriland & Creative Kāpiti. Artist floor talk discussions with three prolific weavers of Te Ātiawa, Ngāti Toa Rangatira and Ngāti Raukawa. Masterful in both traditional and contemporary Māori weaving. Kaupapa Kōrero – The importance of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga through Māori artforms. An informal but intimate conversation with wāhine Māori weavers speaking about their fine art practices.
