Trotters Trundle

Trotters Trundle (is 10 minutes south & inland of Moeraki just off SH1). Its about getting kids into nature - 2 x easy child-friendly short guided walks, approx. 45 minutes. Walkthrough some of the last ruminants of remaining native forest in North Otago. Come experience real native nature on your doorstep, podacarp trees, silver ferns, beautiful bird life and song and a visit to the wetta caves.

Come prepared - backpack, suitable closed footwear, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, dress warm and in layers (layers are easier to remove than having nothing to put on), snacks and drinks. But most of all bring yourself.

Make a day to remember for your Whanau and the young ones, bring a picnic to enjoy whilst sitting by the stream and taking in the surrounding nature. You will leave feeling really refreshed and happy, for sure.
