Haere mai! Afio mai! Welcome! Come wrap yourself in the arms of 300,000+ woven stars. This Matariki season, Vaka To A Billion Stars officially welcomes the One Billion Stars project to Aotearoa, by Samoan weaver Maryann Talia Pau. Be a part of this inspiring project by joining the free weave a star sessions. Your star will then board the vaka and paddle towards being part of the One Billion Stars project.

One Billion Stars is a global star weaving movement built on community resilience and healing. The woven stars are symbols of courage, hope and working together in solidarity to help end all forms of violence including bullying, racism, and in particular, violence against women.
