This exhibition will show a mixmedia work by Jelena Rukavina that explores tactile art through classic drawings as an expression of a need of contact with the outside world during lockdown. This project monitors and establishes relational instances framed and connected by the notions of the traditional and the modern. The established binary expression "modern", although rhetorically in great contrast with the term "traditional" in artistic reality, is only one set of traditions in relation to another. The artist uses the interplay of lines, shapes, colours, referring to these structural elements as those most fundamental forces of nature.
