Wanaka Arts Labour Weekend Exhibition Opening Night

The 42nd annual Wanaka Arts Labour Weekend Exhibition will kick off on Thursday 21st October 2021 with a festive opening night. Tickets include two glasses of wine or beer, appetizers, and live music from local legend Noel Coutts. Come celebrate the excellence and creativity of the region's artists, with a diverse range of mediums on exhibit and for sale, including painting, photography, sculpture, woodwork, ceramic art, jewellery, fibre art, and more.

This year's exhibition includes eight working artists on site throughout the weekend: Kym Beaton, Kate Boswell, Robin Brisker, Kate Costello, Esther Dexter, Jenny Hill, Sophie Melville, and Julia Sternkopf.

Special guest artists this year are Amy Bixby (jewellery), Shannon Courtenay (ceramics), and Justine Summers (painting).
