Whanganui Walls - Street Art Festival

Come and weave through the beautiful streets of central Whanganui and watch as 7 renowned New Zealand based artists transform 7 walls into amazing pieces or art.

On Saturday March 20th we will extend our brush beyond the visual, with a day of live music at Majestic Square from 1.30-10pm. With a great selection of music, food and drink, this all ages gig has something for everyone, so gather your friends and family for a fantastic weekend in Whanganui. Don't forget your sunscreen and your dancing shoes.

A free event guide showing details of everything you'll need to know, including the artist locations and music line up, will be available during the festival, from the Whanganui I-SITE and Sarjeant Gallery. Make sure you swing by and say hi to our local talented students who will be painting their own mural during the weekend period of the festival, and make sure you allow some extra time to check out the 9 murals that were produced for Whanganui Walls 2019.
