Job sharing is nothing new for Kiwi!
In this event, you’ll get to hear author and illustrator Heather Hunt read and discuss her book on kiwi. Open to everyone.
Following, from 11.15 am-12 pm in The Rolfe Room book a place in a drawing workshop for school-aged children to find out how she draws her multi-layered scratchy Kiwi.
Heather was a festival guest in 2018 when she came as a member of the Backyard Kiwi Project at Whangarei Heads. She got children drawing kiwi and will be doing so again this festival while talking about the important job the male kiwi has in raising a kiwi chick.
The workshop is free but has to be booked as only 20 spaces available.
Heather will have books for sale for $20 (cash) at the event.
Only book a place for your child in the workshop as there are only 20 places for children, but no limit on adults.
Adult supervision of children required and workshop is for school-aged children.
