Job sharing is nothing new for Kiwi! You’ll get to hear author and illustrator Heather Hunt read and discuss her book on kiwi. This event is open for everyone and no limit on numbers.
Following, from 2.45 pm-3.30 pm in The Downes Room book a place in a drawing workshop to find out how she draws her multi-layered scratchy kiwi. This event is designed for school-aged children and has to be booked as there are only 20 places available.
Heather was a festival guest in 2018 when she came as a member of the Backyard Kiwi Project at Whangarei Heads. She got children drawing kiwi and will be doing so again this festival while talking about the important job the male kiwi has in raising a kiwi chick.
