Job sharing is nothing new for kiwi! You’ll get to hear author and illustrator Heather Hunt read and discuss her book on kiwi. Following, find out how she draws her multi-layered scratchy kiwi in a drawing workshop.
Heather was a festival guest in 2018 when she came as a member of the Backyard Kiwi Project at Whangarei Heads.
She got children drawing kiwi and will be doing so again this festival while talking about the important job the male Kiwi has in raising a Kiwi chick.
Only book a place for your child in the workshop as their are only 20 places for children, but no limit on adults.
Adult supervision of children required. Workshop is designed for school-aged children. Heather will have books for sale for $20 (cash) at the event.
