The Village Square's Winter Fun holiday programme: Awesome fun for kids, Zero stress for parents

Choose fun on-site activities and awesome trips every day from 12-23 July, 2021. We're open from 7.30am-6pm every day at no extra charge which is perfect for busy parents. Whether you need two full weeks of childcare or just a day here and there, we've got you covered!

Everyday we offer both Club House (on-site) and Adventure Seekers (trips) activities. Our Adventure Seeker kids go on all sorts of awesome adventures across the Auckland area.

Our Adventure Seeker Activities:

Week 1:

Monday 12th July
Game On Arcade $75
We’re heading into the city to visit GameOn Arcade! Test your skills and try your luck on a huge line-up of arcade games. Try Space Invader Frenzy, a fast-paced re-boot of the classic Space Invaders, or test your shooting skills on their NBA Hoops game. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Tuesday 13th July
Flippin' Fun $75
Become a pro trampolinist as you bounce the day away at Flippin’ Fun Trampoline Park. Freely explore over 40 trampolines, have a go at a game of dodgeball, shoot some hoops and sink yourself in foam blocks. Let’s get jumping! Wear grip socks or jump in bare feet.

Wednesday 14th July
Extreme Edge $75
Test your coordination, self-confidence, balance and fitness at NZ’s largest indoor climbing centre! Have a blast mastering the colourful themed walls in their ClimbZone area with automatic belays. All instruction and equipment provided. Wear gym gear and trainers.

Thursday 15th July
Event Cinemas $75
We’re off to see the latest holiday blockbuster! You’ll have 2 or 3 options to choose from (including M-rated movies for 9+ year olds if ok with parents). You’ll have time to buy popcorn if you bring movie money.

Friday 16th July
Paradice Ice Skating $75
We’ll glide onto the ice at Paradice Ice Skating rink! Try a jump, spin, play ‘freeze tag’ and enjoy an afternoon of icy fun. All equipment and abilities catered for. Beginners, please bring $5 for a frame. Must wear socks.

Week 2:

Monday 19th July
Southern Maid Donuts $75
Become a donut chef for a day at Southern Maid Newmarket! You’ll mix, knead, roll, cook and pipe your own handmade donuts, and then decorate them with your choice of icings and sprinkles. Take yours home or eat them up for lunch. Delish! Please wear closed shoes. Limited spaces available.

Tuesday 20th July
Mt Albert Wave Pools $75
Splash down at the Mt Albert Wave Pools. Jump in and ride the waves on this cool day out. Zip down the slide, float around lazy river or relax in the spa. Have an awesome day splashing around with your friends. Bring togs and towel.

Wednesday 21st July
Mt Smart Inflatables Pop Up $75
Enjoy a high-energy day at the inflatable pop-up at Mount Smart Stadium. There will be an 18 ft slide, giant games, bouncy castles, an obstacle course and wacky wheels to try out!

Thursday 22nd July
Wizard of Oz at the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre $75
Lions, tigers and bears – oh my! Journey with us to Oz as we watch the Glen Eden Playhouse’s youth production of The Wizard of Oz. Based on the iconic motion picture filled with music, dancing and adventure, this production will have something for everyone.

Friday 23rd July
Archie Brothers Tenpin Bowling $75
We’re off to the Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq bowling alley at Newmarket Westfield. Roll up, knock ‘em down and tap your toes to your favourite tunes while you wait for your turn. Must wear socks for special bowling shoes.
