World Wetland Day Celebration - Grovetown Lagoon

Celebrate World Wetland Day by experiencing the community-led wetland restoration project, Grovetown Lagoon with a walk around the lagoon (3.2km; flat/graded track and boardwalks). A beautiful wetland right on Blenheim's door step. Volunteers have been working at the lagoon for 19 years planting trees and controlling weeds.

There will be activities for the kids. Dogs on leads welcome. Start at the Wairau Rowing Club, Steam Wharf Rd, Grovetown. Bring warm clothes, sun protection and solid shoes.
