Havelock Theatre delves back to 1843 for its Christmas production for 2022. They will be staging an adaption of Charles Dickens’ most loved work “A Christmas Carol.” Sarah Nathan, a newcomer to the Havelock stage has made the adaptation and will be directing the production.
Her adaptation will be slightly condensed but will not miss any of the important storyline or fabulous characters. She has introduced music and Christmas Carols to the play so there will be a wonderful sense of Christmas spirit. “Something I suspect everyone will be needing especially after this year,” says Sarah.
Once again Bladen Wines will sponsor the Opening Night on Wednesday 14th December. Friends of Havelock School will have refreshments on sale at all other performances. Seating is Cafe Style, so audiences are welcome to bring their nibbles with them as well.
So come along for a great time out, there will be plenty of opportunities for the audience to participate, so bring your best singing voices as well.
Tickets are available from The Gallery, Main Street, Havelock Phone 03 574 2821 or on-line Trybooking.com/nz. Door sales available.
Doors open ¾ hour before each show.
Ticket prices Adults $20, Seniors/students $15, children ( under 14) $10
