Acute Medicine Conference 2022

The Acute Medicine Conference is the only event in New Zealand that focuses on General Medicine in the first 24 hours. It is jointly run by Hutt Valley and Capital Coast DHBs.

This conference caters for General Physicians, trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine, and is also of interest to those seeing acute medical patients in the Emergency Department and sub-speciality medical.

The programme covers a vast range of conditions that attendees are likely to encounter on-call and on the wards during those first 24 hours. The presentations are case-based with practical suggestions for diagnosis and management of acute medical problems.

It is a chance for attendees to take this opportunity to update their knowledge, improve patient safety and network with colleagues.
