All Our Trans Friends: a photographic exhibition

Join us as we honour and celebrate the stories of local trans folks!

Here at Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero/Central City Library, we’re so proud to present all our trans friends: a photography exhibition uplifting the lives and stories of local trans folks.

This exhibition is part of our Transgender Awareness Week celebrations.

We have been privileged enough to photograph, and hear the stories of, 15 people from across Tāmaki Makaurau. We asked each person to bring an object that is meaningful to them, and to tell us why. The stories people shared were tender, powerful, funny, and sweet: real stories of humanity and hope.
