All Souls Service - A Time to Grieve

This Sunday, November 6, we are observing All Saints/All Souls and are again offering a service of remembrance for all those who grieve this year.

All who have lost loved ones and friends over the last couple of years, and all who grieve for whatever reason are welcome join us at 10am.

For many 2021 and 2022 have been hard years. Life as we knew it has changed. Some for the better. Some for the worse. While there is much to feel relief at when we look back, there is still a lot to grieve. This is especially true for those who have had friends or loved ones die. And for too many we have been unable to attend funerals and say goodbye. This has been a hard time.
With Covid, climate change and the war in Ukraine and the effect of all these on the global economy over the last couple of years, many are feeling more anxious and uncertain. And too often our usual ways of working through a bereavement have been upended. We are offering this opportunity to pause and take time to acknowledge our grief, to remember those who have died, and to acknowledge what their lives have meant to us and the impact of their loss on those who remain.
This service is open to everyone.
People are welcome to bring a photo of those they wish to remember.
