April School Holiday Art.

All children must be accompanied by an adult
Activities suitable for ages 4 years+
All art materials are provided
The wearing of masks is required for entry to the Gallery

Make art that surprises and inspires these school holidays.

Art making will be split over two session times:

Session 1
10.45 am to 11.30 am

Session 2
11.45 am to 12.30 pm

Week 1 Activities:

Tues 19: Batik That Grows
Use cold wax and dye to invent a Len Lye inspired creature that grows in drippy ways.

Wed 20: Kite Hangers
Be inspired by Afghan kites, plan your own design using colour and recycled plastics.

Thu 21: This Is My Only Home
Paint a placard to stand up for Aotearoa’s endangered animals.

Fri 22: Tukutuku Creations
Thread and weave funky paper, textures and patterns inspired by the embroidered artworks.
