Auckland Heritage Festival 2022

Attend this year's Auckland Heritage Festival (1-16 October 2022) to discover the topography, taonga and trailblazers of Tāmaki Makaurau.

Learn about Auckland’s rich heritage – from our natural landscape and historic architecture, through incredible treasures, to stories of our trailblazing people; all of which have made our region the desire of many.

Discover Devonport's missing maunga, visit Rangitoto's Bach Museum, hear about the history of Crown Lynn then create your own ceramic tile, visit Takapuna's fossil forest or eat muffins cooked on a Victorian coal range - there's something for everyone, including family-friendly events for the School Holidays.
The festival brings together more than 160 events throughout Auckland. Most are free or low-cost, selected events may require bookings and payment.
