Beginners Argentine Tango Six-Week Course

Hola! The Napier Tango Club is hosting an Introduction to Argentine Tango (Tango Argentino).

Designed for beginners, the six-week course covers the fundamental steps needed to navigate the dance floor. The course is designed as preparation for the club’s annual Tango Ball and Winter Art Deco festivities, plus various social and Milonga-themed events.

If you are looking to step outside your comfort zone, then this is the dance for you. No partner is required but comfortable footwear is recommended.

The course will be taught in the historic former Spa Hotel at 39 Marine Parade, opposite Ocean Spa in Napier, which is now the headquarters for the Hawke’s Bay Latin Dance Club and the Napier Tango Club.

Classes run from 6-7pm every Monday from January 10 to February 14. The cost is $60pp for the entire block, or $15pp for a casual class. Bookings are essential. Special conditions may apply.
