Bestselling thriller writer Jane Harper is coming to town!

Since her award-winning debut 'The Dry' was published in 2016, Jane Harper has sold over 3 million copies worldwide and is the author of five acclaimed novels.

Now, she is coming to Auckland’s Takapuna Library for a special evening event, to talk about her new novel 'Exiles,' chaired by popular local author and journalist Nicky Pellegrino.

'Exiles' is a propulsive and thrilling page-turner filled with mystery, lush storytelling, and dark undertones. Jane Harper writes with nuance and skill about grief, secrets, family, and what it means to be haunted by things left unsaid.

Jane Harper is the internationally bestselling author of 'The Dry,' 'Force of Nature,' 'The Lost Man,' and 'The Survivors,' and has won numerous awards. She worked as a print journalist for thirteen years both in Australia and the UK, and now lives in Melbourne with her husband and two children.

In Rob Connolly’s critically acclaimed film adaptation of 'The Dry' (2020), Eric Bana vividly captured Federal Investigator Aaron Falk's character on screen. Bana will reprise his role in Force of Nature, which commenced filming in May 2022.

Jane Harper’s event is proudly brought to you by Pan Macmillan New Zealand in association with the North Shore Libraries Foundation, for which this event will be a fundraiser to help support local libraries.

This major event is supported by Paper Plus and The Friends of Takapuna Library, in association with Auckland Council and the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board.

Light refreshments will be served on arrival.
