Botanica Exhibition

The Botanica exhibition is a combination of art and science upon which the exhibition compositions are anchored. They come from the artists who are members of the Botanical Arts Society of New Zealand (BASNZ). Botanica is co-presented by the Gallery and BASNZ.

This exhibition affirms the intrinsic value of botanical art. Its critical task is discovering, recording and protecting plant species and their ecologies that are the basis of life on Earth. A renaissance worthy of celebrating with this exhibition, Botanica.
