Buddha’s Birthday, the most important event of the year for the Buddhist community, commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and final Nirvana of Buddha and is observed by Buddhists throughout the world.
Fo Guang Shan Temple will be celebrating the Buddha’s Birthday and everyone is invited to join us in this celebration.
Activities for this celebration include bathing of the Buddha, Light and flower offerings, prayer for safety in Covid-19, Art exhibitions, Vegetarian food.
We promote respect and understanding within the society, building bridges of friendship and communication, bringing harmony and peace among family, friends, colleagues, and the community.
We are organizing under the COVID-19 Protection Framework, we will follow the framework for events with the vaccine pass at the relevant ‘traffic light’ level. Please wear a face mask when joining the event.
