Celebrating 50 years of Cambridge Resthaven, 1972-2022.
50 years ago, a group of dedicated Cambridge people fundraised and built Cambridge’s first community-owned rest home, Cambridge Resthaven. Through the last five decades, the caring team at Cambridge Resthaven have touched the lives of many people who have lived in the rest home, hospital and retirement village facilities.
Join in this evening of celebrations and sharing in Resthaven's history. Guests will be treated to a drink on arrival, a gala dinner, a charity auction and entertainment into the evening. Set in the Sir Don Rowlands Centre, this world-class venue is situated on the lake's edge with stunning views of scenic Lake Karāpiro.

Cambridge Resthaven is a 100% community charitable trust providing aged care and retirement living in Cambridge. Funds raised from the Gala Evening will go towards a community playground and exercise area.
