A NZ historical journey in music: Chris Priestley is joined by a group of very well known artists from Film, TV and music.
The Unsung Heroes tells the story from NZs distant past in song with Peter Elliott as narrator. Cameron Bennett (Journalist, TV presenter and musician), Nigel Gavin (Jews bros/ Nairobi trio) and Sonia Wilson (French born singer/musician) together with Chris Priestley create the accompaniment to this engaging historical journey through Aotearoa’s past. Together with an audio/visual presentation of images the theatre will be the perfect place to enjoy this performance.
Chris Priestley is a singer /songwriter NZ historian. He has recorded 8 albums, 3 of which were nominated for NZ Tui awards. He co-founded Real Groovy and cafe music venues Java Jive, Kerouacs, Atomic and One2One.
